This past Thursday, June 11, was June’s day for Every Hour on the Hour (EHOTH). Essentially, you take pictures every hour on the hour of your day to give a visual representation of what it is like a day in the life. Here are my EHOTH photos for June!

I went out for a drive in the morning, as well as to run some errands. It was a gloomy, dreary day, as you can tell by the view out the car window!

I’ve been posting my Every Hour on the Hour posts once a month since February (I missed January cause WordPress ate that post, oops) and every month, there’s usually one person that expresses interest in either participating in the next month, or inquires about the idea behind Every Hour on the Hour. I figured that now is as good a time as any to explain and shed some light about the Every Hour on the Hour event!

Every month, I participate in an event called Every Hour on the Hour, hosted by Vegetarian Option. The idea behind it is from the now defunct site My Average Day, where participants have a visual representation of every hour of their day to show what a typical “day in the life” is for them. My visual representation of choice is photos, as seen by all my Every Hour on the Hour posts, but as long as the representation of the hour is a visual, then it’s acceptable.

Ideally, photos are taken each hour from the hour you get out of bed till the hour you go to sleep. However, that’s an incredibly flexible rule (and one that I bend quite often…) as there are always situations during the day where you can’t take a photo, such as in a school or work setting, or you forget to take a photo for an hour, or you’re doing the same thing for several hours in a row! As long as the compilation of visuals at the end of the day depict an accurate representation of how you spent your day, then you’ve completed the Every Hour on the Hour event for that month.

June’s date for Every Hour on the Hour is Thursday, June 11 - so, this Thursday. If you’re interested in participating, why not start this month?

This past Saturday, May 23, was May’s day for Every Hour on the Hour (EHOTH), a monthly event hosted/run by Vegetarian Option. Essentially, you take pictures every hour on the hour of your day to give a visual representation of what it is like a day in the life. Here are my EHOTH photos for May!

First thing of the day is to brush my teeth and wash my face, of course. I use the Proactiv line for my facial cleansing, Clinique’s moisture surge for my facial moisturizer, and Neutrogena’s Norwegian Formula for my body moisturizer, in case anyone was wondering.

This past Friday, April 24, was April’s day for Every Hour on the Hour (EHOTH), a monthly event hosted/run by Vegetarian Option. Essentially, you take pictures every hour on the hour of your day to give a visual representation of what it is like a day in the life. Here are my EHOTH photos for April!

Getting dressed and ready to start the day. It’s a pretty nondescript outfit - plain black shirt with jeans. I don’t normally get dressed up or anything when going to class, but the reason for my extremely plain outfit is that all my other clothes were in the laundry, and I really wanted to wear my starry Vans (pictured above), and those shoes only work well with plain outfits! My body also looks a little disproportionate in that photo for some reason…
